An engagement session is more than a set of photographs. It is the first time we work together — learning how you move, how you laugh, what light suits you. By the time your wedding day arrives, you will be completely at ease in front of the camera. That ease shows in every photograph that follows.
Sessions are available anywhere in Norway and worldwide. The only requirement is good company and open sky.

We choose a location that reflects you — not the most popular Instagram spot, but somewhere that feels right. Mountains, coastline, forest, city. I know the light in all of them.

Guided & natural
I will direct you gently — into the light, into position — but the moments between the directions are where the real photographs happen. Most couples forget I am there within the first twenty minutes.

Delivered beautifully
A private online gallery of edited images, delivered within three weeks. Every photograph is consistent in tone and quality — ready to print, frame, or share exactly as they arrive.

Engagement photography in Norway —natural light, honest moments.
Based in Kristiansand, Norway, Ottar Jenssen photographs engagement sessions across Norway — from the fjords of Vestland and the dramatic landscape of Lofoten to the coast of Agder and the forests of Telemark. Every session is shaped around the couple, the season, and the light available on the day. Engagement sessions are available as a standalone booking or at a discounted price with any wedding package.
International sessions in France, Germany, Italy and elsewhere are available on request. Sessions typically last 1.5 to 2 hours and are delivered as a private gallery of 60–100 edited images.
